Chopper is a dark and playful solo project by Jonatan K. Magnussen (former frontman of The Love Coffin), which, in rebellion against the conventional pop star and with a taste for the bizarre, embraces everything from eurodance to glam rock, hard industrial to disco. Chopper dances on the fine line between tragedy and comedy – but don’t be fooled: behind it all lies a desperate and heartbreaking force that is impossible not to be seduced by!
Throughout its 3-year lifespan, Chopper has received great acclaim for its intense live shows, enigmatic music videos, and expressive attitude. Imagine a carnival from hell, the sound of untamed youth, and a longing for love; an elegant and contrasting portrayal of even the darkest corners of existence.
